To be in state of being a mother is described as motherhood. Its a wonderful experience to be a mother and those who are going through this experience will agree with me that this experience has changed them as a person completely. The experience of being a mother teaches you so many things in life that you tend to be a better person.

The motherhood status can be enjoyed in much better way in today’s techno time. Here I will like to mention that you can only enjoy this experience if you have planned your motherhood otherwise it will be just another responsibility in life.To have this experience you have to give sacrifices in terms of your valuable time and energy and your whole attention. Well some call it sacrifices ,some say its their duty, some argue why only mothers should do and not fathers and some just give themselves priority and for them their baby is the other asset in life. Whatever may be the reason but we can’t run from our responsibilities as mother and mind you, if you run, be prepared for the repercussions.

The scientific arena around the world has done much work about the way  various things effect the babies. How can we work upon those things to get positive effects on our babies and how  we manage ourselves with our babies depends upon us only. Its the matter of inclination only. Instead of thinking about fulfilling yours unfulfilled ambitions through your baby start thinking about how to create a nurturing environment around him for his proper development, how to give your valuable time to him in a positive way, and how to help him out to realize about his positive traits.

Motherhood feeling starts from the moment of conception. Its a blessing that you have conceived and now its your duty to take care of that little creature.Its your choice only.Though the initial trimester has its downside also. Health-wise you have to be very alert  as any negative effect on your health is going to effect your baby. Now here the scientific awareness can help you to have sound development of your baby within you. Try to be aware of nutritious food you can take which can be beneficial for the baby. Awareness regarding the in take of necessary amount of  calcium, protein, vitamins can boost the good health of the developing baby.Besides the food your exercise schedule, and habits like walking, reading, listening to music habits can be added help for the all-round development of your baby.

Music has a very positive effect on the development of the baby in the womb. The recent scientific researches has shown that the type of music you hear also effects the personality of your baby. If you listen to rock music your baby can have inclination for fights.How interesting! So mothers who want to see their kids as classical singers start listening to classical music throughtout your pregnancy.

Working mothers-to-be are occupied with their work.Its good that they are busy and this will help them in being active. But they should also take out time to know about different stages of pregnancy, which exercise to follow for healthy delivery, and what to eat and what not. In-fact nowadays world is compressed on Internet and there are many groups there of same interest group like groups for mothers-to-be having same due date of their babies.Its quite interesting to join such group as it helps you to know, the things you are facing in your pregnancy period is being faced by every pregnant woman. And then they share their dreams about their baby, they discuss names, they exchange ideas with each other. In brief its quite interesting to be a  member of such group. Who knows you can find some good friend their residing in some remote part of world.

The nine months of the pregnancy period can be life remembering if you plan them well.After all its for your own baby whom you are going to deliver and going to have life time bonding. So why not gift him the best of health and wellness when he opens his eyes in this world. Best of luck!

Its quite interesting!

Have you ever heard the word ‘Chindian’, I came to know about it during my stay at Singapore. Chinese cuisine prepared in Indian style is Chindian. Some Singapore Indian restaurants claim their expertise on it. Isn’t this fact is interesting that we Indians are expert in moulding the things according to our taste, where ever we are!Indian taste buds are always in search of good taste. They just can’t take the food for the sake of food only. Though this definition of taste varies from country to country but for Indians the taste lies in all spices, in all variety of vegetables, sweets, puddings, rice variety. We are the the best example of the country for unity in diversity. With 28 states around in a country one can imagine how many types of food variety we are having. Every state has different specialty in the terms of food.  Some dishes are really deshi in terms of liking in every state like chola bhatura, dosa sambhar, chowmein, pani puri, nan paneer, and samosa. These dishes are like present in most of the places throughout the country and in some foreign countries too!

When we talk about the global food so many cuisines are their throughout the world. There is Continental, Korean, Japanese, Mexican, Chinese, Thai, Indian, and many others.If you are a vegetarian by nature then its will be really experimenting time for you to mould the international cuisines according to your taste. And believe  me if you are a real Indian by nature then you will do it perfectly.Its not that all international cuisines require experimenting.Some cuisines are tasty in their original form. Thai food is the best choice in international cuisine as it is quite close to Indian cuisine in terms of spicy and tasty food. So you can go along the dishes without any change. Thai rice, Thai soup, salad, match the Indian taste buds. For some cuisines you have to carry a bottle of Tabasco sauce, and Tomato sauce to mix with the rice or noodles if you want(which I did during my visit to  some eastern countries).

Here I will like to share some different experience with vegetarian food in Japanese cuisine and in Taiwan. Teppanyaki is the way of cooking in Japanese restaurants. The word means iron plate. In Japan it means number of dishes cooked using a hot plate located in the centre of dinner’s table.Though non-vegetarian is the main menu the few dishes which is vegetarian are worth trying.Assorted vegetable, Mung bean sprouts,  and soup. In 1945, Misono restaurant in Japan started the Teppanyaki way of cooking. The interesting fact is that you can watch the skilled manoeuvres of the chefs preparing the food in front of you.

In Taiwan concept of vegetarian is present but to certain extent. They have the Buddhist way of cooking vegetarian food which doesn’t allows you to use onion garlic.But they use chilly sauce so its not that bland. One place was Minder Vegetarian(English name)which meant Highest Virtue Vegetarian Garden in Chinese name.Its a buffet style. You pick a plate and tongs at the entrance walk along the serving counter and load up. The interesting point is that the cashier weighs your plate to determine the price and asks if you want rice.You can try different varieties of tofu and vegetable in this restaurant.

Continental, Korean, Mexican , Spanish there are numerous cuisines to try your hand on.  Its actually fun to know the variety of food we are having worldwide and umpteen number of ways it is cooked. So have fun with your food and keep experimenting!
